About Me
I’m Estefanía, a communications strategist who believes clarity builds trust — and trust opens doors.
Originally from Colombia, I’ve spent over a decade helping organizations tell better stories, ask better questions, and build meaningful connections with the people they serve.
My path has crossed through government, nonprofits, and the private sector — from national campaigns and fundraising strategies to grassroots programs and local initiatives. One of the roles that shaped me most was working with the Colombian government to engage directly with communities across the country. It taught me that good communication isn’t just about getting the message out — it’s about listening, earning trust, and making sure people feel seen and understood.
That same approach is what I bring to every project.
My work blends strategic thinking with execution: digital campaigns, public relations, systems design, content strategy, and community engagement. I simplify complex ideas, find the right tone for the right audience, and build practical workflows that make good work easier to deliver — and easier to repeat.
Since moving to Fort St. John in 2023, I’ve become part of a new community and a new landscape. I currently serve as a Board Member of the Spark Women’s Leadership Conference, sit on the Steering Committee for 100 Women Who Care Fort St. John, and volunteer regularly at events that support local causes, learning, and civic engagement. I’ve also been continuing my education, including coursework on Indigenous communities and reconciliation in Canada — a subject I approach with humility, curiosity, and respect.
I like systems. I like stories. And I care about using both to help people do something that matters.
